Class of 2012
Bi-weekly report, May 2, 2010
If there’s anything different about the Galapagos, it’s the animals, especially the sea lions. They are so unafraid of people that they have colonized town, and often rest and recline in the shade of town benches, in town planters, even on the play structure slide.
When you walk past (or step over them, as the case may be), you’ll often get a one-eyed inspection before they roll over and go back to sleep, for what seems like 18 hours a day.
Never again will I see the sea lions in San Francisco the same way.
