I’ve had the opportunity to soak up the local culture and travel to some eye-opening locations.
Here in Xela, I have gone to soccer games where the fans get so crazy and excited that they set off firecrackers literally in the middle of the stands.
I’ve danced salsa to the latest Latino music, and walked through busy outdoor markets selling everything you need, from delicious mangos to plastic sandals.
