My family traveled to Ecuador over winter break. We spent four days in the highlands outside of Quito, immersed in the culture, then traveled to the Galapagos for a week of hiking and snorkeling around the southern island.
The Galapagos are so well preserved, and it’s amazing how the animals have no fear of humans.
It was a truly astounding trip.
