My time teaching in Thailand is where my original interest in the Fulbright came from. That was one of my first solo international experiences, and it impacted how I approached thinking globally.
I went from thinking about just Eden or just Chapel Hill to thinking about how the actions of one person or one government can affect a much larger realm of people.
