On hosting “MLK Today: Aid and Development in Central and East Africa.” January 20, 2011.
We hope to connect Martin Luther King’s legacy with a contemporary international issue, showing that his ideals and work are still broadly relevant today.
Many people believe that MLK spoke exclusively on domestic civil rights, but he was also outspoken on international issues including the Vietnam War.
